- Does anyone know where I can purchase or locate terminating resistors
- for the controller end of the A3000 scsi bus?
-
- I am having random read errors with two hard drives when they are cold.
- Excellent advice from Warren Block points to the need for me to terminate
- the controller end of the bus which is currently unterminated.
- Either 8-pin sip resistor packs to fit the internal motherboard sockets, or
- a dB25 external plug terminator are needed but I cannot locate a supply
- locally.
- I tried fabricating a dB25 plug with 220/230 resistors as a voltage divider
- on each data pin between the 5V terminating power pin and the ground pin,
- but so far without success. (yes, I did check for 5V first!)
-
- I would be greatful for any suggestions.
