  14. Does anyone know where I can purchase or locate terminating resistors 
  15. for the controller end of the A3000 scsi bus?
  16.  
  17. I am having random read errors with two hard drives when they are cold.
  18. Excellent advice from Warren Block points to the need for me to terminate 
  19. the controller end of the bus which is currently unterminated.
  20. Either 8-pin sip resistor packs to fit the internal motherboard sockets, or 
  21. a dB25 external plug terminator are needed but I cannot locate a supply 
  22. locally. 
  23. I tried fabricating a dB25 plug with 220/230 resistors as a voltage divider 
  24. on each data pin between the 5V terminating power pin and the ground pin, 
  25. but so far without success. (yes, I did check for 5V first!)
